This web-site supports the women's field hockey teams here at Riverside High School in Durham, NC USA. We also try to provide useful information to other high school teams trying to build field hockey programs in a region offering little support for coaches, players, or facilities.
Web-site content, design, and operation are provided by fans of Riverside Field Hockey. The web-site is not sponsored by Durham Public Schools or its employees nor intended to represent official views.
Scoreboard prep scores are updated daily from August to October. Summer camp web-links are updated monthly from late-Nov to late-Jan. Other web-links are tested and updated every 1-3 months.
Photo, artwork, and article copyrights are retained by the original contributors. If you wish to publish or reproduce web-site materials, please ask permission first via the "Feedback" e-mail address below. Most photos are available at higher resolutions for printing.
Suggestions for improving web-site content, organization, or appearance are always welcomed.
Try the News tab first for Riverside team information, and the Play tab first for other field hockey information.
Web pages are encoded in XHTML 1.0 and visually styled using CSS 2.1. You may encounter an animated GIF or two, but we do not use frames or cookies, and you do not need Javascript, ActiveX, Visual Basic, Java, or Flash.
Content should be viewable in most browsers at your preferred font size using a mouse or keyboard for navigation. Pages will look best in modern standards-compliant browsers like Mozilla/Firefox, Netscape 7+, Opera 6+, or Safari. Pages should look okay in less capable browsers like Internet Explorer 5 or 6 or Netscape 4 or 6. Text-based browsers and screen-readers should work, too, and most pages should collapse for hand-held devices.
If you encounter web-page problems, please report them via the "Feedback" e-mail address below. To speed troubleshooting, please identify your web browser version and operating system and also attach a graphical screen shot or two to illustrate your problems. Thank you.
